Vera Svechina, a 37-year-old San Francisco woman, reportedly followed a visually impaired employee through a secured door March 18 at company headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. Once inside, police say, Svechina left a letter and book written in Russian outside of one of the co-founder’s offices, according to the newspaper’s website. There was “nothing threatening” about the letter, but it was “angry in parts,” Mountain View police spokeswoman Liz Wylie told the newspaper.
